Water Valve Replacement & Leak Repair

The City of Archie will be doing a valve replacement on Jackson Avenue between N. Truman and N. Wilson Streets on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. This will require that we shut down the water for the entire town from 9:00PM to midnight. We will prepare the site earlier in the day in anticipation of a quick repair and limited down time for the water to be off. This valve replacement is another in our quest to have enought valves in town that will allow isolation of smaller sections of town when a repair does need to be made. Once this valve is replaced, we are hoping it will isolate the line so we can do a water main repair in the same location on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, which should only affect a few customers on N. Wilson Street and Jackson Avenue, who will be notified individually. We thank you for your patience as we do these repairs and replacements throughout town.
