UPDATE ** Street Work - August 25-26, 2022

The tilling/reclamation on W. Elm Street and Hi-View Ridge Drive has been postponed to the beginning of next week. Weather permitting that work will begin early in the week.
The City has contracted with J.A. Lillig Excavating, Inc. to do the reclamation of the road surface, and with Vance Brothers to do the chip and seal on the surface for the following sections of road inthe City this year:
Hi-View Ridge - between the south intersection with Delaware to approximately 13 Hi-View Ridge
West Elm - between S. Iowa & Main Street
East Elm - between S. Washington & High School Ave (A Hwy)
East Chestnut - between S. Washington & S. Truman
Work will begin Thursday, August 25, at 7:00am, on E. Chestnut Street and E. Elm Street, and will continue on Friday, August 26, at 7:00am, on W. Elm Street and Hi-View Ridge. Vance Brothers will begin the chip and seal work next week. The actual date will be posted next week. All is weather permitting.
