Water Leak Repair

The City of Archie will be repairing a water leak at the corner of W. Maple & N. Texas on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. The water will be off on N. Texas from approximately 7:00AM-12:00PM. Thank you for your patience while we make this repair.

Park Maintenance & Weed Spraying

NOTICE: Hodges Park will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, June 28, for maintenance & weed control spraying around the playground equipment & ball fields. Sorry for any inconvenience during this time, but we do appreciate your patience as we work to keep our park nice for the community. Thank you!

Juneteenth Holiday - Freedom Day

It's Time for some Spring Cleaning!! The City of Archie will be having a Spring Citywide Cleanup on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 8:00AM-1:00PM at Hodges Park. There will be a dumpster for appliances & TV's. City staff will be on site to help load items in the dumpsters if needed. The following items will NOT be accepted:

Parks Closed Dusk to Dawn

With the weather starting to get warmer, and next week being the beginning of Daylight Savings Time, we just wanted to remind everyone that the City parks are closed from Dusk to Dawn. When using the parks, please be mindful to pick up your trash and place it in the cans provided. Also, please be respectful of the portable restrooms. They are there for your convenience and use. We have had reported vandalism to them over the years, and that makes it difficult to get them rented and serviced for our community members to use. Thank you for your help.
Water Main Repair

Update: The City has completed the water main repair on S. Truman Street. The repair was completed without shutting down any water customers. Thank you!

Notice of Water Main Break

The City is experiencing a major water break at the intersection of S. Missouri and W. Elm Streets. That area of town will be without water until the leak is repaired. We do not have a completion time at this moment. Thank you for your patience as we repair this line. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Notice of Filing Deadlines for the April 4, 2023

There will be a general election held in the City of Archie, Missouri, on April 4, 2023, for the purpose of electing the Mayor for a two-year term, one Alderman from the East Ward for a two-year term, and one Alderman from the West Ward for a two-year term. Any candidate wishing to enter his or her name for one of these positions, must file with the City Clerk of the City of Archie, Missouri, during regular business hours (8:00AM-12:00PM and 12:30PM-4:30PM), Monday through Friday, no sooner than December 6, 2022, and no later than December 27, 2022, with the exception of December 23 & 26, 2022, when City offices will be closed. The office will remain open for filing until 5:00PM on December 27, 2022.
