Water Leak Repair
6/17/2022
The City will be working to repair a water leak on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 8:00AM. The affected area of town will be the West side of N. Ohio, N. Texas, and W. Maple Streets. The City is planning an isolated shutdown of the immediate area. If the isolated shutdown does not work, the expanded shutdown area will be the NW Quadrant of Archie, from N. Main & A Highway, going North & West. The school will not be affected. If you have any questions, please contact the City Hall.
Parking Space Striping on Main Street

**UPDATE**: Due to the striping crew now having a conflict on Thursday, the striping of Main Street will be pushed to Friday, June 17, 2022, beginning at 7:00AM. The parking instructions below will still apply. Thank you!
Tornado Siren Testing

Water Valve Installation to be Postponed:

Trash Service

The City of Archie will be testing tornado sirens on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 1:00PM. Please share with your neighbors who may not have access to the website or the City's facebook page. Thank you!
HELP WANTED:

The City of Archie is seeking a part-time Water Plant operator. Duties and Responsibilities include: daily testing and lab work required by Federal, State, County, and local regulations; janitorial duties with regard to the water treatment facility to maintain a safe, clean and presentable work environment; routine monitoring and maintenance of all portions of the water system, including using tools and equipment in a safe manner to finish tasks and repairs; other duties as assigned by supervision. Normal working hours will be Saturday and Sunday, 5:00AM to 8:00PM. Applicant must have a valid drivers license and be at least 18 years of age. Salary will be based on experience and qualifications. REMINDER:

Please remember that paint cans are not allowed in the trash cans. Even in a bag, paint cans can spill and cause a mess in the truck, even spilling out onto our city streets. This becomes a mess for our trash service and for our City. Please respect the rules of our trash service. If you have questions as to what is allowed or not allowed in your trash, please call the City Hall or Countywide Disposal. Thank you for your help!
Notice of Upcoming Water Repair/Outage:
3/21/2022
The water outage originally scheduled for Monday, March 21, 2022, has been pushed to Wednesday, March 23, 2002. The City will be working to repair a leak at the corner of Maple & N. Truman, and will also be installing a new water line at Pine and Washington Streets. The water will be shut off to these portions of town from approximately 8:00AM-12:00PM to complete this work. Thank you for your understanding while we take care of these repairs.

City Hall closed due to inclement weather

Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, City Hall will be closed today, Thursday, 2/17/22. We will open again tomorrow at 8:00AM. Sorry for any inconvenience. City staff is ready with the snow plow to clean the streets as needed. Be safe if you have to be out!
